Redhill will be appearing at the midsummer festival in Denbigh on Saturday, June 18th, 2011.

Information from the Visit Denbigh website states:


17th, 18th & 19th JUNE

Opening night Friday 17th June

9.00am – 4.00pm The Welsh Market – Town Hall and Crown Square. A feast of local foods and crafts, entertainment and music. Funfair throughout the day.

6.00pm – Ball drop on Bull Lane. Official Opening of the festival by the Mayor. Numbered balls on sale now at £1 at various outlets in Denbigh including: E Jones & Sons, Denbigh Cutters, Glass Onion and Visage. All money goes to local charities.

Denbigh’s Got Talent – Town Hall – 7pm

7.00pm – Denbigh’s Got Talent – The Grand Final – Town Hall – £4 – Contact Mair Edwards on 0345 230 3140. Tickets at Glass Onion Cafe

8.00pm –Welsh Poetry Slam/Stomp Farddol– Brookhouse Mill.

Saturday 18th June

9.00am – 5.00pm The French Market –

The French Market returns with our Welsh Market

The tastes and smells of France – stall holders from Normandy selling breads, wines, cheeses, preserves, croissants, pancakes and much more.  Come and enjoy a quick visit to ‘France’. Complemented by our local Welsh Produce.

Mixed in with live music throughout the afternoon to entertain all.

11.00am, 1.00pm & 3.00pm – Heritage Walks– Town Council initiviative guided walks in and around Denbigh. Meet at the Library.

Local Live Music Night – Denbigh Town Hall – 7pm to 12.00 pm

Live music – The Goat Roper Rodeo Band, Redhill, Last Men Standing & Two Suns. Bar & Refreshments on the night.



Sunday 19th June

Boules – 2pm

Dr Evans Pierce Memorial Gardens – open to all. £1 entry fee per person, teams of three. Book your team in now at The Glass Onion Cafe.

2.00pm BBQ and live music at the Hope and Anchor – open to all.

7.00 pm English Poetry Slam – The Plough, £2 Entry.
